Would-be suicide

One day a man of an age in his 40’s called me from Tokyo.  He said, “I can’t continue this life any more. So, please help my soul after I die.”  I replied to him, “I can send your soul away and it’s easy for me. But I think you will not be able to receive another life and even if you can, it will not be a human. Can you take this?”  He sounded as though he was out of both physical and mental energy. While it might not be hard to commit suicide, the afterward effect is really hard to deal with. Committing suicide is generally a huge sin, and most of these souls are still tied to human world. They will either stay here for several hundred years or they are sent to the dark world forever. If they are helped in leaving here, they will still almost never receive another life as a human. Possibly lives as animals or insects.

When people find out the fears associated with suicide, they will understand that they shouldn’t commit suicide. If people have enough energy to suicide, they have enough energy to do anything else to live. The only ones who commit suicide are the ones who have weakness in their souls. They are the ones who ask us for help by haunting relatives, and even people who happen to pass by an area. The weakness of souls will not be changed with or without physical death.  The man who called me had such a weakness in his soul.
